
Dear Lesley: Can Children Drink Coffee?
I have been getting criticized because I let my child drink coffee. We both really like to get a Frappuccino when we are out. I don’t understand it though. Is coffee bad for kids or something?

I have been getting criticized because I let my child drink coffee. We both really like to get a Frappuccino when we are out. I don’t understand it though. Is coffee bad for kids or something?

Potatoes are one of my favorite foods. I find them to be tasty, filling, and convenient additions to completing a meal. I think it is not fair that they have such a bad rep. Why is that anyway? Potatoes have so many nutritionally positive attributes.

My husband found out at his last doctor visit that his cholesterol is too high. He was put on a medication and was told to change the way he eats. I am going to plan his meals because I know that he will struggle. He doesn’t do that good with change. He is really concerned about what he gone eat for breakfast, especially protein.

A lot of times clients tell me they are considering becoming vegetarian or vegan to lead a healthier lifestyle. I often recommend they try various meals in the specific dietary pattern they are considering before making a sharp transition.
